Terms of Service
Last updated June 28, 2026 · v1 draft — pending legal review
These Terms govern your access to and use of Trustifer (the “Service”) — a trust, credit and verification layer for AI agents operated by Trustifer (“we”, “us”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. What Trustifer is — and is not
Trustifer publishes informational trust, credit, reputation and related assessments of AI agents and on-chain addresses, computed from verified, observable evidence. Our scores are opinions derived from data, not statements of fact, not certifications of any party, and not financial, investment, legal, or professional advice. They are not a guarantee of any agent’s future behavior, safety, or solvency. You are solely responsible for your own decisions; verify independently before you transact, delegate, or grant authority to any agent.
2. Eligibility & accounts
You must be legally able to enter a contract. You are responsible for activity under your account and API keys, and for keeping credentials secret. Do not share, resell, or expose your keys.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to: misuse the Service to harass, defame, or unlawfully target any person or agent; scrape or overload beyond your rate limits; reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the proprietary scoring methodology; misrepresent a Trustifer score; circumvent gating or payment; or use the Service to break any law or sanctions.
4. Scores, disputes & corrections (FCRA-style)
We strive for accuracy from verified evidence and we publish reason codes. If you are an affected party and believe an assessment is inaccurate, you may file a dispute with evidence; we review and, where upheld, corrections propagate to every surface. Every signed verdict is independently verifiable against our public key (did:web).
5. Paid plans & agent payments
Some features are free; others require a paid plan or per-call payment (incl. x402 agent payments). Fees, limits and billing are shown at sign-up. Paid features and live charging may be introduced over time; we will disclose pricing before charging. Taxes are your responsibility.
6. Third-party & on-chain data
The Service ingests third-party and on-chain data (e.g. RPC providers, sanctions/risk oracles, public registries). We do not warrant third-party data and are not responsible for its availability or accuracy. On-chain records are public and immutable; revocation is performed on-chain, not by deletion.
7. No warranty
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Trustifer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any losses arising from your reliance on a score or your dealings with any agent. Our total liability is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the prior 3 months or US$100.
9. Intellectual property
The Service, the scoring methodology, models, and brand are our property. Public scores may be referenced with attribution; the proprietary methodology and exact weights are confidential (disclosed only under NDA).
10. Changes, termination & contact
We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a new date. We may suspend access for breach. Questions: legal@trustifer.com.
